So yeah I am pretty much pissed off right now!
This will be a quick health rant!
I have purposefully not posted about my health in a while for a number of reasons, the main one is that I have a hard time going for long term goals, if I dont see short term results I tend to get frustrated and then give up, so posting about my diet, talking about it all can be beneficial when done in moderation, but destructive if done too much.
So/we decided in order to help put this in check we would not weigh our selves for the entire month of March.
Sounds like a greeeeeat idea right?
WRONG!
After working out and eating good for almost the entire month of march I go to weigh myself to find out that I only have freaking lost 2 pounds!!!!!!
Now you can save all your "hey at least you lost 2 lbs" crap for the next fat man!
I mean...
I have changed my lifestyle do to the fact I have type 2 diabetes.
But non the less I have dramatically changed my life, I will continue this eating path for the rest of my life, I have too, I like my life, and my legs way too much!
But if I could give up I would do it now!
Sorry to be a negative nathan but dang
it just sucks!

But look how cute you are... :)
Hear ya mana,
A long while back (high school) I was 200lbs I worked out like a dog and fasted like crazy, not the best way to go about dieting, but I did a lot of cardio and weights and got down to 164lbs in like 4 months. Fast forward to now and after a long stint of sitting on my ass for Corporate hit 243, I'm hovering around 239lbs now... I've been sick off and on so "working out" doesn't really do me good, maybe I'm just too tired of it... but now I can't get my ass moving for the life of me and it sucks.. so I'm pissed off as well...I use to drop 10lbs in a week now... now I waddle.
Not that it matters, but your dad (Dat's me) gained 3 pohnds. Hang in there, you are on a journey, that will be awesome, at the end!
Thanks you all for the honesty and openness!
Keep on bro! I am going to gym right now...you are inspiring people more than you will probably ever know! And have you considered dance parties? I know it might sound corny, but I have recently started to assemble a playlist before bed, and I just go for it! Just a nice variation to get the heart rate up quickly, plus it is just you and your beloved, so there is no embarrassment. With me...no beloved yet, so I really go all out! Janet Jackson megamix...yes!
I know that its frustrating when short term results are not seen but think of it this way my friend: when you have finally lost 50 or 100 or how ever many pounds you do eventually lose, it would not have been possible without that first couple of months of unseen results. You gotta crawl before you walk.
