RAT RACE RANT [TAKE2]

So I typed out this whole new blog post, but after I did, I realized I had already posted almost the same exact post back in the first days of soulmana, so since there are a few more readers now and its pretty much exactly how I feel again I re-present to you

THE RAT RACE RANT

I recentlly had an epiphany, we really only have this one life to live (in this life time that is) We spend most of our time chasing and doing stuff that we don't like doing, and add no value to our existance. I.e. we work 40 + hours a week at a job we at best accept,or we go to school and work a job for "x-amount" time trying to become something.
We allow life to pass us bye in the process.
We spend so much time building up our own little kingdom that we forget, or never find out what we were created for, that really sucks!
Now understand im not bashing school or work I know those are all just fine and dandy, all im saying is stop some times and smell the flowers! love life, go to a movie, turn the t.v.off, take a walk, call an old friend ,spend some time with a loved one, pet a dog, I dont know just do what you love to do!
Talk to JESUS I hear he's looking for friends! Seek to find your individual purpose in life, It far surpasses anything that we could ever acomplish on our own!...resist the rat race!

Hey Mana,

So this goes inline with an Idea i've had for a while and sometimes wonder what it is we are doing here really, that thought is that Jesus was homeless, He left his job and started living real life. If it was only that easy for us to leave it all and live. The rat race has nothing for me but, oh crap, I need to eat...

It's ironic that I read this, because just yesterday I made a comment to John about how I'm starting to feel like hamster on this wheel of life. Even those of us in school are just waiting and hoping for a sign..something to tell us what we are meant to do. Finding your purpose is hard, but I think it's the ultimate goal. The last thing you want is to look back on your life with regret. It's so easy to get pulled off track by the day to day though. Nice blog man.

I wish...I wish... that I could be the person, I feel I was formed to..Be determined, to be all that God wants you to be...never compromise...do not come to the last days of your journey, with regret..sorrow
