So this will be the short version.
I have had some fears that I might be diabetic for a a little while now.
I have shown signs and symptoms of it being a possibility.
Well as of the last couple of weeks I have been having horrible cotton mouth at night as well as having to urine every hour (which both are major signs).
Last night it got worse...I urinated fire, yes literal fire shot out of me!!!!
Ok maybe the fire thing was a lie but it did get worse.
It started to get more consistent, were talking every 30 minutes I was up restrooming.
So I did some more research, went to work, told my boss, who happened to have a blood sugar tester, we pricked me and wow!
My blood sugar was at 330, my mouth hit the floor, that is super high, a few others tested today for the fun of it and there blood sugar was like 89-109...so wow!
Mine has dropped since then but is still considered high and at a diabetic level.
I am trying to establish a doctors appointment which since I don't have insurance and I make...well ummm... lets just say I don't make that much money so finding the right Doctor is tough!
But I will go, I will do whatever is needed to change my lifestyle.
I know that I can fix this situation by changing my life style which is something I wanted to do anyway so hey this could just be my jump start.
Please pray for me I am kind of scared and I am a big old weeny when it comes to health issues.

By the way the not smoking is doing great its been almost two weeks since my last one!

You have the right attitude. You were already on your way to making 2009 a year of change and better health. Be grateful you caught it now and are finding out this way and not in an ambulance ride due to diabetic coma. Your gonna make it Mike! You may be shaving that Tribble off your chin sooner than you thought.
