FRUSTRATION...

How do you deal with it?

When everything in your life seems to fall apart at the same time.
I cant keep working out and eating healthy without loosing weight, I know me enough to know that I will give up soon, if I don't see some results.
I know its not being positive for filled with faith.
I believe God cares about peoples problems, sometimes I feel like I might be exempt from that reality though.
I am tired of working for chicken scraps, I love my job, I love the people I work with, but my little sister in law who is 16 and just got her first job at a gas station almost makes as much as me.
I am 28 I need medical insurance, I have diabetes, I cant get proper treatment because I can't afford it.
I don't know what to do.
I want to to design for a living, and get paid what I am worth, I think I am pretty decent.
I am frustrated with a lot of the aspects of my life and I need to have some change occur in my life.

Have you ever been frustrated?

What do you do to make it better?

Romans 5
Peace and Joy
1Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. 3Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

yo, there's been plenty of times in my life i've prayed for better circumstances (money, job, place to live, etc.) and it was only after I allowed myself to BE CONTENT in what i had currently, that he blessed me with my prayers for greater (in man's eyes) things. HE knew I'd need a better job w/ better pay to support a family and a new home. He did just that and more. But remember that God will provide a way to give you all you NEED (not "want") - it's YOUR JOB to be a faithful steward.

Luke 16
The Parable of the Shrewd Manager
1Jesus told his disciples: "There was a rich man whose manager (servant, employee) was accused of wasting his possessions. 2So he called him in and asked him, 'What is this I hear about you? Give an account of your management, because you cannot be manager any longer.'

Whether you take those verses to mean money or talents, just be a faithful manager/steward of them.

Be encourage man. I've been where you are (minus the diabetes).

I too have been where you are... the exact seat to be specific! I was frustrated watching my talents go to the lowest bidder and, do to not having a degree, I held no weight to tip the scales in my favor. Eventually, I gave up on ever thinking that I would get what I felt I deserved and just gave in... Then, my wife (who is sooooo smart) made me wake up!! "I am worth more than this! I can take control!!"

I guess what I'm saying is that, as much as I loved my job and my co-workers, I had to do the right thing for myself. Even if that meant leaving the job I WANTED and going to something that was less desirable for my pay... Maybe that's not Your answer, but it's just the logic of My choice (from the guy who used to sit where you are today).

My friend, take a look at your life in segments...
1. What do I (we) have?
2. What do I (we) need/want?
3. What do I have to do to achieve those needs/wants?
4. Am I going to be able to achieve those goals by keeping things the same?

If more money is the answer, then you have to assess the situation for what it is... as opposed to what you want it to be. I promise you one thing, if truely you want more than what you have, you will see the answer more clearly by asking those 4 questions...

Good Luck!
