Food for your soul, from mine: 2009 MANASSEH MUSIC UPDATE!

WARNING THIS IS A LOOOONG POST!

So in 2009 I will release some new albums.(finally)

I took some time off of doing music to build my graphic design skills.

I have a love/hate relationship with hip-hop, I have been an mc for 15 years or so a producer for 10 of the years (give or take) And for the longest time I chased after a dream off making a living off of my music, but when i realized it was just a dream, I became pissed, I always thought I would get paid off of it, not a lot just enough to not have to work a 9 to 5 .

But I probably will never be able to do that.

So I started focusing on my designs and realized that I can get paid from that, not a ton but hopefully I will be able to keep doing it full time which will allow me to focus on doing other things I enjoy... like music.

I have done countless shows, met a lot of dope artists, made some really solid life long friends, and had a blast!

The fact of it is I am hiphop, its the culture and a lifestyle where I live.

I am now and will most likely always be a musician.

So on the tenative agenda for 2009:

1. "Mikestands the re -issue"( my first solo album originally released in 04 I will be re issuing it with all the original cut songs 22 tracks all together)

2. Somewhere in the middle ( brand new album mostly reordered in early 08 )

3. BSIDES "making tents" ( my long awaited group project with ADAML and DJ JAFAR) originally recorded in like 03 or something I am finally releasing it, no matter what I will put this album out this year!!! )

4. Puzzle people last but not least, this is my new crew, well kind of, most of the people who are in it is and have been my friends for a while now, we are just finally coming together and doing and album, I am really excited to do this project, it is scheduled to be out this year, stay tuned for further updates.

For the first time publicly played, I present to you all "DAY TIME COME" this is a unreleased track off of my new album "somewhere in the middle" keep in mind this is a rough cut, there has been very little mixing done, so I hope you enjoy!
