So my man JABEE just dropped His new album entitled Blood is the new black.
And I have been listening to it pretty much non stop now for about two weeks now.
Let me just say that I did a beat on this album and he is a good friend of mine, so my opinion is kind of jaded, but that being said...
This album is really solid.
The production has a soulful vibe to it, but not the usual repetitive double time sped up delfonics samples on every song. Jabee touches a broad range of topics from general life, to girl issues, to God. He is a real dude making really dope music for a really dope cause.
He is hip hop for the hip hop lovers, but still manages to make a quality enough product that even the lil wayne lovers of todays bubble gum rap scene could dig!
You should go and check him out, I think you will agree.
